Ceramic Braces

Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces are a popular choice amongst patients with dental issues, as they are less noticeable than other types of braces. The brackets are made of porcelain or ceramic material.

With Ceramic braces, Dr. Christina delivers a gentle but constant force to shift your teeth into the correct position. Ceramic braces are just as effective as metal braces in correcting a wide range of orthodontic issues, including misaligned teeth, gaps, and bite problems. They provide precise control over tooth movement.

Invisalign

Invisalign aligners are an innovative technology designed to straighten teeth and improve your smile without braces. Using advanced 3D computer-imaging to create a digital model of your teeth, Dr. Christina can create a plan for your entire treatment before it even starts. Then, using a series of aligners custom-made just for you, we’ll position your teeth into the desired position. Each set of aligners last for 7days, as directed by Dr. Christina, until your treatment is completed, and your desired smile achieved.

Myo Braces

Myobrace treatment involves using a series of appliances that have the proven dual function of correcting habits that cause poor dental development, while also providing light forces to align the teeth into their natural position. This technique is now used by practitioners in more than 100 countries worldwide. Treatment does not involve wearing braces or using complex and uncomfortable dental appliances 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Wearing a Myobrace appliance for one to two hours each day and overnight while sleeping, combined with a series of ‘myofunctional exercises’ (also known as the Trainer Activities) each day is all it takes for a real change to occur.

Interceptive Treatment for kids

Dr. Christina normally recommends treatment only after all the adult teeth have erupted, around the age of 12. At that early age, it’s possible to determine if there are issues related to the child’s growth or tooth positions that should be addressed sooner rather than later. With early orthodontic treatment, we can take a less invasive, preventative approach. Addressing development concerns while the bones are growing gives us the ability to avoid more invasive approaches (such as jaw surgery) in the future.

Retainer Treatment

wearing your retainers after your treatment is just as important as the treatment itself. Based on your treatment, your Dr. Christina will recommend the type of retainers that will suit you best.
